Lit! A Christian Guide to Reading Books

Paul's Goodreads Review

What an absolutely amazing book. The practical details are covered so comprehensively, yet are always framed within the bigger picture of the work of Christ. Starting off by painting a beautiful description of the place of reading and books in Christianity, the book slowly zooms in towards the everyday intricacies of reading, at all times affirming its joy and usefulness. I loved reading this book, and was saddened to reach its final page.

The only book you should read entirely is the Bible. All other books must prove their value along the way. Don’t allow unfinished books to pile up in a mountain of guilt. Show patience with a book, but cut ties when necessary and move on.
